Dr Saman Setayesh specialises in Skin Cancer diagnosis and management. He is a fellow of RACGP and has obtained his Certificate in Primary Care of Dermatology from RACGP/ACD. He graduated in 2001.
Dr Saman Setayesh, obtained a Professional Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine, an Advanced Certificate in Skin Cancer Surgery, and also another Certificate in Dermoscopy (the science of reading and interpreting skin lesions with a Dermatoscope), from Skin Cancer College, which is very essential to check skins. Combining with trained eyes, Dr Setayesh is able to advise patients about the nature of their lesions.
Very Complex procedures like difficult Skin Grafts, skin Flaps and Wedge resection can be done in the room under local anaesthesia. He is mentoring junior doctors in regards of skin cancer diagnosis and procedures. With removal of thousands of skin cancers and saving many lives, no spot or skin lesions is missed.
